Her anthology, A Poem for Every Night of the Year was a best book of the year in The Times and the New Statesman and won the IBW 2017 book award.Emily Faccini is an artist, illustrator and map-maker. She studied art, graphics and illustration at Central St. Martins, Bristol (BA), and Brighton (MA). Over the last two decades she has worked extensively in publishing, the magazine and newspaper industries, as well as for charities, creative businesses, with gardeners and environmental organisations. Her hand-drawn maps, endpapers, logos, lettering and book jackets have been widely in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her work has notably appeared in books by Stieg Larsson, Patrick Barkham, Lauren Child, Amin Maalouf, Madeline Bunting, Philip Marsden, Samantha Shannon , Stuart Turton and James Buchan.Emily’s Paintings have been shown in many exhibitions.
